Girly Hair: My first attempt at a blow out

Following the success of Sunday’s blow out and makeover, I made a vow to style my hair every day. Well, that didn’t happen. On Thursday, I took a stab at my first blow out. I think you’ll agree that I could use a little practice.

Oh, and my hair gets totally messed up about halfway through this video. Ignore that. :-)

    Ahh, it was my lunch break, and I had to choose between my car and a crowded starbucks. Next time, I’ll record from home. :-)

    I can relate to the hair dilemma. It’s a good day if I actually comb my hair. Right now my hair is really long and I keep telling myself not to cut it all off because I can do something cool with it, like curl it into lovely, bouncy ringlets. I need to get that magical hair stylist from Gilmore Girls over to my house if that’s going to happen, though, because my hair will not hold curl. I guess that will be something to look forward to when I’m old and gray.

    When you’re old and gray, you can come with me to the salon to dye our hair blue and have it set in rollers. Won’t that be fun?

    Mel, I think I like the in-car vid recording. It’s a different approach. I was wondering, till I saw your comment, why you were doing it that way.

    Patrick, maybe I’ll make the car my studio. It’s a little difficult to show off make-up techniques that way, but it would limit me to only the make-up that can be applied “on the go.”
